GOOGLE SEARCH RESULTS - Andreas Ekstrøm

Google's search results aren't as unbiased as you think

  1. personally, when I see that Google is obviously suppressing search results, I am using Tor project or Yandex.ru. (Yandex can be used with our alphabet and in English)
The difference of the search results is sometimes surprising, even if Google might also somehow be involved in these two alternatives…

  3. If I google Aangirfan only a very old web page comes up. The regular Aangirfan is nowhere in sight, not even after going through pages. But if I search for Aangirfan in Internet Explorer it comes up right away. My Google works through Internet Explorer, but that makes no difference. I'm not one for using other browsers like Fox or Chrome, but with MS Bing Aangirfan is found right away too, but Bing is basically Internet Explorer.

    1. But in MS Edge, the browser on my Windows 10 tablet, Aangirfan comes up as one of my Top Sites. And on my Windows phone Aangirfan even comes up in my spell checker, so if I type in an 'a' Aangirfan comes up as an option, and it also corrects the spelling if I get Aangirfan wrong. I think my Windows 8 phone has learnt that Aangirfan is the correct spelling because I type it so much.
