1988 - PanAm 103
I am having lunch with Scotland's chief prosecutor, lord advocate Frank John F. Mulholland.
We meet at the María Eva Nicola Sturgeon Duarte Perón restaurant in Edinburgh.
Mulholland says that there are two new suspects in the LOCKERBIE bombing and I am eager to hear all about this.
We order Ballottine of Fois Gras with chips, Poached Fig and Almond Milk with chips, Marinated Haggis with chips, Rhubarb Crowdie and Fennel Granola with deep fried Mars bar and chips.
So, who are the two new suspects?
Will they be Abu Nidal, who was an agent of the USA and Israel, and Marwan Khreesat, who was a Jordanian intelligence agent with links to the CIA?
~~
"Well," says Frank, "the additional suspects are Bashar Al-Assad and Vladimir Putin!"

EU indulging 4-fold smuggling out of Libya: Migrants, diesel [huge profits], drugs, weapons
"It looks to many Libyans as though the EU does not want to act against the diesel smuggling and arms trafficking that allows the human smugglers the space to operate. ... I have met with people from Italian embassy (to Libya, now situated in Tunis) five or six times. They know the names of all the smugglers ... Zwara’s smuggling king is a shareholder in and a director of a Malta company, and Malta is an EU country ... The smuggling kingpin is Fahmi Slim Mousa Ben Khalifa, aka Fahmi Slim."

"The body of a 20-year-old Syrian woman 'Rokstan M' was unearthed from a shallow grave in the small Saxon town of Dessau last week. Her father and brothers stabbed her to death on her mother’s orders, after she was gang-raped by three men. The rape left her “unclean” and the mother allegedly demanded the killing to restore the family’s honor. German police are seeking the father and brothers ...
"Political leaders in Germany are struggling to respond to reports of a sex crime epidemic among newly-arrived Muslims ... widespread rape at refugee centers ... Sweden now has the highest incidence of reported rape outside of a few African countries ... the most dangerous country for women outside of Africa ... Sweden’s political leaders have made it a criminal offense to talk about it"
Just a caution to people who visit the Jimstone site.
ReplyDeleteI had no trouble accessing it until I clicked OK on a notice from Google about their user policy. It said something about they could not provide me with the service unless I accepted it. Though I admit I did not read it fully because it seemed to be a repeat of one I read about a week ago.
After I clicked OK, my hard drive went very active for about four minutes, and I now cannot get on Jim's whistleblowing site.
I cannot say for sure but I suspect clicking on the Google notice caused the problem because I was viewing it half an hour previously.
His address is 82.221.129.208 can anyone else still get on that site?
Yes.No problem.Suggest another search engine, such as Ixquick Metasearch.Just put 82.221.129.208 into that & it should take you straight there.
DeleteThanks for the reply. Guess what! The Jim Stone site has come back, I can now access it as before.
DeleteWhether that is because I went public on here, or because of some other reason ........ Who Knows ???
I was not accessing it via a search engine but by a direct link from my favourites folder, using both Internet Explorer and Firefox. It was inaccessible/blocked immediately after the Google incident, now it's back.
Very strange !!
Superb unusual article on gun & murder statistics across countries, pointing out
ReplyDeleteThere is often a trick of using 'gun crime rates' versus 'murder rates' (killings are often done without guns)
And how different things look when one compares the USA, not with more homogenous, non-diverse countries such as Europe & East Asia
But with other countries that are also diverse & have a lot of rich-poor inequality like the USA, the countries typically left off of such comparisons, e.g., Mexico, with very many fewer guns but triple the USA murder rate
Astonishingly, the USA is one of the safest-from-violent-murder countries in the Americas (!), though having many more guns per person than any of them ... only Chile Cuba & Canada have a lower murder rate in that hemisphere (and there are huge amounts of guns in Canada too, Canadians by the millions having refused to register them)
Chart of gun ownership & murder rates across countries of North & South America ... absolutely amazing, even for us firearm-ownership fans
The article you quote is by 'Tyler Durden'.
DeleteTyler Durden' is a pseudonym of Daniel Ivandjiiski, who was penalized for insider trading in New York in September 2008.
Anon, you are using the "poisoning the well" fallacy by (effectively) claiming that Daniel Ivandjiiski's argument is invalid because he was convicted of insider trading. This is irrelevant to the argument at hand. If there is something factual you would like to take issue with in "Tyler Durden"'s article then, by all means, have at it and enlighten us, but please aim your barbs at what the man has to say rather than the man himself.
DeleteHaving grown up amongst such logic, I see how Putin and Assad can be implicated.
ReplyDeleteOn 5 December 1988 (16 days prior to the attack), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued a security bulletin saying that, on that day, a man with an Arabic accent had telephoned the U.S. Embassy in Helsinki, Finland, and told them that a Pan Am flight from Frankfurt to the United States would be blown up within the next two weeks by someone associated with the Abu Nidal Organization;
ReplyDeleteThe timer was allegedly traced through its Swiss manufacturer, Mebo, to the Libyan military, and Mebo employee Ulrich Lumpert identified the fragment at al-Megrahi's trial. Mebo's owner, Edwin Bollier, testified at the trial that the Scottish police had originally shown him a fragment of a brown 8-ply circuit board from a prototype timer which had never been supplied to Libya. Yet the sample he was asked to identify at the trial was a green 9-ply circuit board that Mebo had indeed supplied to Libya. Bollier wanted to pursue this discrepancy, but was told by trial judge Lord Sutherland that he could not do so. Bollier later claimed that in 1991 he had declined an offer of $4 million from the FBI in exchange for his support of the main line of inquiry, though this claim has never been verified.
A documentary titled Lockerbie Revisited aired on 27 April 2009, in which the film's director and narrator, Gideon Levy, interviewed officials involved with the case. Former FBI Laboratory scientist Fred Whitehurst described the FBI laboratory itself as a "crime scene," where an unqualified colleague Thomas Thurman would routinely alter his scientific reports. The interviews also revealed that the timer fragment had never been tested for explosives residue due to "budgetary reasons." Thurman, who led the forensic investigation and identified the fragment's Libyan connection, confirmed that it was the "only real piece of evidence against Libya". When asked about the importance of the timer in the conviction of al-Megrahi, FBI Task Force Chief Richard Marquise stated, "It would be a very difficult case to prove ... I don't think we would ever (have) had an indictment".

An 'Arabic' accent? Why that settles the case, for who would try and deceive the investigation and point it at some country they want destroyed?
Maybe someone was celebrating one of their 'holy' days and using Flight 103 as a menorah?
Your last question is worth a bash. There's a school of thought that revolves around an occult worship of Saturn which is linked into hermeticism and, as such, astrology.
DeleteIt may all well be a dead end however, if one follows the argument, then a look at the astrological picture at the time of Lockerbie is most revealing - with a large convergence of planets in the sign of Capricorn.
"Pan was a composite creature, the upper part–with the exception of his horns–being human, and the lower part in the form of a goat. (…)The pipes of Pan signify the natural harmony of the spheres, and the god himself is a symbol of Saturn because this planet is enthroned in Capricorn, whose emblem is a goat” -Manly P. Hall, Secret Teachings of All Ages"
It's something to ponder over, perhaps ?
