SNP'S RECORD IN SCOTLAND

John Swinney (right)

John Swinney, Deputy First Minister of Scotland, points out that some of the very negative media stories about Scotland are untrue.

  1. I'm Scottish and I want freedom from English rule. The SNP and all political parties are Crown (city of london corporation) sworn operatives.

I have no faith they will deliver true freedom. The best we would get is a pseudo independence but still ruled by the crown corporation. How could Scotland be independent when London ruled it?

    1. The Swiss and the Icelanders have a degree of independence. They are unlikely to want to lose that degree of independence, just because they do not have 100% independence.

  2. Another politician selectively plays with statstics while avoiding the issue of who creates and claims ownership of the money supply without which, in a money-motivated economy, nothing happens. This is what all politicians do, and must do in order to have permission from the Financial Power to continue in the 'game' of politics.

  3. There is an elephant in the room though here I'm afraid. The whole SNP independence movement was predicated on the oil price being at least $80, and there was many a serious economist who suggested it would need to be plus $100 a barrel to accommodate SNP spending plans. Odd it is that Salmond doesn't comment these days on such an inconvenient market truth

    1. The Swiss are unlikely to give up their independence just because the price of oil has gone down.

    2. 100% of oil revenue at $50 per barrel is still much greater than 10% of oil revenue at $100 per barrel. Yet again people who's knowledge of the Independance argument what they have read in the hugely biased mainstream media.

Take Whisky alone out of the equation and England loses £8 Billion per year in duty.

Take Scotland out of England and they overnight cease to be responsible for ther share of the £10 Billion in housing benefit that goes to line the pockets of those fortunate enough to have London Property rented out.

Oil companies whose HQ are based in London, suddenly become tax responsible to Scotland, London loses their share of those profits.

There may be an elephant in the room, but in reality it is a rather small elephant in an rather big room so far as Scotland is concerned.

£1.5 Trillion in debt and rising - who needs the oil most, Scotland or the UK ?

  7. As a Scot, I do not believe its "English Rule" that's the problem!
Majority of English r as screwed over as rest o us! It's the so called Elite that's the problem!
Whole of UK (& alot more besides) r ruled by psychopathic, narcissistic, murderin paedophiles!
The SNP r probably the best o a thoroughly rotten bunch. But they r FAR frm squeaky-clean.
The entire governing structure of UK is wrong!!
Decades of shite have proven this!
We NEED 2 take our country back & start 2 right some of the wrongs..

    WHO CARES about the oil?!
(Funnily enuf, ppl av bin known 2survive wi out it!)

2 me, It's not about ££. It's about having a morally decent country where it's NOT OK
    2rape children
    2commit murder
    2experiment on ppl
    For 1 MILLION 2use foodbanks
    It's NOT OK
That we r continually drip fed utter bollox
That that basic human rights r trampled over
That our children r being taught DOWNRIGHT LIES

AND ITS NOT OK THAT WE R APPARENTLY HAPPY 2 PAY 4 ALL OF THE ABOVE!!!

    Its OUR country
Is it not about time we stopped concentrated on money & started makin it a better place 2 live??

  8. If I were Scottish I would have been all for independence, although I'm not sure about the Salmond and Murdoch relationship, but I'm English and I kept pleading with the Scots, don't leave us with the fucking Tories in charge down here?

  9. 'Independence'? What a joke! And no, it wasn't even remotely anything like the independence enjoyed by Iceland and Switzerland (who hint, hint, are not in the EU!) The SNP leadership are nothing more than disgusting Roylist and globalist kowtowing traitors! (The rank and file have been brainwashed by Salmond and co and continue to be blinded by their anti-English bigotry.)
