With other highly-placed politicians, Whitelaw was said to lead the 'Sons of Lucifer', the overlords of British Satanism.
Apparently Derry Knight was an eccentric criminal, but, could parts of his story have been true?
THE NEW WITCH-HUNT. / DEVIL DID IT!
In 1980, London's Evening News revealed that the UK's chief prosecutor was considering prosecuting a top child abuse gang which "obtained young boys for politicians, prominent lawyers and film stars".
It is being reported that Willie Whitelaw, a Freemason, told a police boss to scrap the year-long investigation into the gang.
The gang was believed to have abused 40 children, the youngest of whom was six. 12 men had faced prosecution for procuring boys and sexual assault.
Jeff Edwards
Jeff Edwards, the journalist who wrote the story for the Evening News, says that after his story published he was hauled in by the police.

He was threatened with prosecution under the Official Secrets Act.
There is a belief that the top child abuse gangs and child brothels were being run by the security services.
Jeff Edwards says that his source, a serving police officer, was disciplined.
Edwards says: "My source told me the Home Secretary had spoken to a senior Met Police boss and demanded action was taken to make sure nothing more was printed about the affair and that the investigation be dropped."
Reporter Jeff Edwards revealed that six officers had taken statements from 40 youngsters.

Sir Maurice Oldfield, the former boss of MI6, was said to have visited the Kincora children's home, while it was being used as a boy brothel.
Chapman Pincher, in his book Traitors: The Labyrinths of Treason, wrote that police Special Branch officers, who were giving Sir Maurice Oldfield round-the-clock protection throughout his Northern Ireland appointment, discovered that male prostitutes were visiting Oldfield in his flat in London.
A report was sent to William Whitelaw.

It appears that no further action was taken.
Inquiry call on ex-MI6 chief
Who are the people on the UK government's current child abuse inquiry panel?
"Barbara Hearn has a conflict of interest. She is a former deputy chief executive of the National Children’s Bureau, a charity that became notorious in the 1990s, after the police raided the home of its consultant, Peter Righton, and found letters between him and teachers, artists, aristocrats and clerics that discussed the abuse of hundreds of boys.
"Another member, Graham Wilmer, admits having a man who was later convicted for possessing child pornography as a lodger. No one who lets out a room is accountable for their tenant’s crimes. And the admission would matter less if Mr Wilmer had not sent vaguely menacing emails to one of the victims presenting evidence to the Home Office."

ReplyDeleteMore on Derry Knight at http://trove.nla.gov.au/ndp/del/article/131703231 :
ReplyDelete"Radio disk jockeys Alan Freeman and David Hamilton and the orchestra conductor, Geoff Love, played bit parts in Mr Knight's extraordinary life.
They were guests at a £3,000 champagne birthday party aboard a paddle-steamer on the Thames thrown for Angela Morgan, Mr Knight's one-time mistress and the principal beneficiary, after himself, of his generosity with other people's money."
