ReplyDeleteFormer BBC Radio 1 boss 'aware of Jimmy Savile allegations in 1970s'
ReplyDeleteCollins said Muggeridge told him in 1973 that he had heard claims involving young girls relating to the Radio 1 programme Savile's Travels and wanted to know whether any newspapers were investigating.
He added that he believed Muggeridge and the then managing director of BBC radio, Ian Trethowan, knew about the Savile claims. Trethowen, who died in 1990, later became director general of the BBC.
"What I don't know is where he [Muggeridge] got the information from. He was obviously told something," said Collins. "He said: 'Can you find out what Fleet Street knows?' I went to two tabloid papers and two London evening papers and I got from everybody the same story: 'Yes we'd heard rumours, but no we won't print anything.'"

ReplyDeleteThere's something wrong with that alledged photo of him with underage girl , look at her left hand near his neck it doesn't look right , plus the photo is very blurred.
ReplyDeleteIt is true that when you normally see photographs of that low quality, it has been done for the purposes of obscuration (see the photos of various false flag patsies for examples). Having said that, I'd hastily decline his services as a baby sitter).

I think that the main reason for Kennedy's assassination was that he intended to end the "Cold War" and by 1963 had gained the co-operation of both Macmillan (aided by their mutual friend, David Ormsby-Gore) and Khrushchev (with Pope John XXIII acting as a mediator until his own death the same year). The Profumo Affair successfully ensured Macmillan's removal from office a few weeks before the assassination took place.
ReplyDeleteRe: Mangold - it is worth noting that he claims to have been a good friend of both Dr Stephen Ward (and was one of the last people to see him alive) and Dr David Kelly - and is adamant that both men committed suicide.
You make excellent points.
