'COVER-UP MERCHANT' CHOSEN FOR CHILD ABUSE INQUIRY?

The UK government has chosen Lady Elizabeth Butler-Sloss, aged 80, to chair the new inquiry into the handling of child abuse allegations by various UK institutions.

Devon peer to lead huge child abuse probe

1. The News of the World had an article about Elizabeth Butler-Sloss's husband 'associating' with prostitutes.

2. Elizabeth Butler-Sloss is the daughter of Sir Cecil Havers and is very much part of the Establishment.

3. Until June 2007, she chaired the inquest into the death of Lady Diana, Princess of Wales, and appeared to be part of a cover-up.

4. In 1987, 121 children from the county of Cleveland were taken into temporary local authority care on suspicion of having been sexually abused.

Elizabeth Butler-Sloss chaired the Cleveland child abuse inquiry, which some people saw as being part of a cover-up.

5. Lady Butler-Sloss granted life-long anonymity to the killers of toddler James Bulger

6. Lady Butler-Sloss is the sister of the late Sir Michael Havers, who was Lord Chancellor (top legal man) at the time of the Kincora Boys Home child abuse cover-up.

Havers reportedly tried to silence 'the child abuse whistleblower' Tory MP Geoffrey Dickens.

I was warned off asking Brittan what he knew.

Havers opposed the prosecution of child abuser Sir Peter Hayman.

Many of Aangirfan's posts on child abuse are being disappeared by Google, and by various forums.

  8. So her brother, Attorney General Michael Havers is the one who said (in 1981) "It is a wholly unnecessary fuss. Absolutely nothing has been achieved by naming a man who has been retired for seven years. All Mr Dickens has done is make sure that Sir Hayman's shame is known to the world" (http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=1314&dat=19810319&id=dfdLAAAAIBAJ&sjid=Z-4DAAAAIBAJ&pg=6873,1071436)

And that makes her eminently suitable, given that they are setting out some fantastical secret paedophile society operating with Parliament, which there will never be enough evidence to support. All evidence (of paedophile MPs, connections to abusers and covering up abuse) will be discarded if it does not support the fantasy.

  11. Aang/Irfan... I was warned today (anonymously of course), myself and another blogger may be in danger for initiating this inquiry. It was not wanted, the establishment did not want to have to deal with this... and yeah they'll go for a whitewash.
MI5 DID NOT WANT TO BE IMPLICATED IN THIS AT ALL! The response from the media was unexpected, from everyone.
The MPs know how to safely play the game, most blogs and journalists don't point at MI5/Security Services... people are pissed.

Im being told, I have to seriously be careful now. :/

-Belfast’s Kincora scandal and MI5 must be part of Westminster paedophile inquiry – Ken Livingstone

The systematic abuse of young boys in the Kincora Boys’ Home in the 1970s and the part played by British Intelligence organisations to keep the scandal under wraps ensured that one side of the murky world of unionist paramilitarism and its links to the crown forces was kept out of the public domain for years.

“MI5 weren’t just aware of child abuse at Kincora Boys’ Home – they were monitoring it. They were getting pictures of a judge in one case, politicians, a lot of the Establishment of Northern Ireland going in and abusing these boys.”

-Kincora: UK child abuse inquiry must look at Belfast boys' home, says Amnesty International

Three senior care staff from the notorious children's home in east Belfast were jailed in 1981 for abusing 11 boys, but allegations have persisted that the paedophile ring was linked to the intelligence services. It is feared that there are many more victims and abusers during the period between 1960 and 1980.

One convicted child abuser, William McGrath, was an MI5 agent and alleged two police probes were obstructed by the British establishment.

Former Labour Party MP Ken Livingstone said: "MI5 weren't just aware of child abuse at Kincora Boys' Home – they were monitoring it. They were getting pictures of a judge in one case, politicians, a lot of the Establishment of Northern Ireland going in and abusing these boys."

-Home Office shredded abuse files: Mandarin fuels row as MP insists vital dossier of claims STILL exists

Mark Sedwill admitted crucial files are likely to have been shredded
Geoffrey Dickens planned to expose eight figures connected to child abuse
Last year Mr Sedwill led a review into his department’s handling of child abuse allegations between 1979 and 1999
It has emerged the ten-page dossier was copied and given to civil servants in other departments

    MI5 could be holding incendiary information which unmasked prominent figures as child sex predators in the 1980s;

The Security Services are tasked with finding any information which could be used to blackmail MPs into giving up State secrets.

MI5 is known to have a detailed file on the allegations against Liberal Democrat MP and notorious paedophile Cyril Smith, which was passed on by police.

  12. Kincora: ‘Inquiry with full investigative powers required’ – McCartney MLA

Vice chair of the Assembly Justice Committee Raymond McCartney MLA has called for an inquiry with the powers to subpoena MI5 files on child abuse at the Kincora Boys Home.

Mr McCartney said: “The allegations that British intelligence agencies monitored and facilitated the abuse of children at Kincora Boys home are shocking. Only a properly constituted public inquiry with powers of subpoena can uncover the whole truth and provide justice for the victims.

“If as alleged, MI5 recorded the abuse of young boys at Kincora, then any inquiry must have full powers to compel witnesses to appear and access all files relating to this issue.

“This is not the first time that allegations of MI5 involvement in this scandal have emerged.

“However, the British intelligence services have consistently been more concerned with covering up their involvement rather than in achieving justice for the victims of serial abusers.

“There needs to be a full investigation into the awful abuse at Kincora Boys Home and nothing less than full disclosure is acceptable.”
