Top sportsman Jonny Wilkinson (above) has said that changing his way of looking at the world has helped him overcome a fear of failure which was ruining his life.
He said: "Quantum physics helped me to realise that I was creating this destructive reality, and, that all I needed to do to change it was to change the way I chose to perceive the world...
"Failing at something is one thing, but Buddhism tells us that it is up to us how we interpret that failure.
"The so-called Middle Way is also about having the right intentions."

cute babies.
When a baby is born, it has various probabilities.
It will probably like football or dolls.
It will probably be inspired by 'good' people or be 'corrupted' by bad people.

The Technium: Current Uncertainties.
According to the scientists, "nature is inherently uncertain."
Things are made from particles, and particles "lack definite physical properties".
New Quantum Theory Could Explain the Flow of Time
We can say, for example, that a particle will probably move left or right.
The particle has probabilities.
An experimentally tested theorem
When a young lad marries a young lady, they interact.
They become entangled.
When two particles interact, "they can no longer even be described by their own, independently evolving probabilities."
New Quantum Theory Could Explain the Flow of Time
The two particles which interact become 'entangled'.
They have developed new joint probabilities.
"The state of each individual particle is 'mixed' with that of its acquaintance."
New Quantum Theory Could Explain the Flow of Time
The two could travel light-years apart, but they would still be entangled.
People tend to think that TIME moves from past to present to future - this is called the ARROW OF TIME.
Eggs get scrambled and cannot turn back into whole eggs, apparently.
A cup of coffee gets entangled with the room it is in and cools down to room temperature

Scientist Seth Lloyd found that "as the particles became increasingly entangled with one another, the information that originally described them would shift to describe the system of entangled particles as a whole.
"It was as though the particles gradually lost their individual autonomy and became pawns of the collective state."
"The arrow of time is an arrow of increasing correlations."

BUT, water can turn to ice and then back to water.
And tepid coffee can be heated up on a cooker.
Professor Robert Lanza believes that it is our minds that create space and time.
According to Lanza, Time doesn’t have a real existence outside of animal intuition.
Lanza explains that everything which can possibly happen is happening at some point across multiverses.

ReplyDeleteAs a young mother, I noticed that the birth of my second child changed the behaviours of my first child. Thus, one plus one was a whole lot more than two.
Similarly, in University statistics and research methods, when learning about the interaction of two variables- how the presence of one variable affects the behaviour of another variable, I was astounded when some really bright fellow students just could not 'get' this. One was a highly respected intensive care nursing sister.
Anyway, when it comes to human behaviour and relationships, we are to exercise Boundaries for the respective health of self, other and said relationship.
Without a doubt, lack of Boundaries is the single most cause of relationship failures.
I am pleased to say that Aangirfan practices the best boundaries on the internet.
Not at all associated with 'fundamental Christianity".
Peace and Blessings xx

Bloody Jonny Wilkinson! That's how he beat Australia in the World Cup! Bloody quantum physics!
ReplyDeleteAnd there were the Wallabies playing olde-worlde newtonian physics rugby and keeping their fingers crossed that Jonny Wilko's dicky knee would blow out and what happened? He "developed new joint probabilities". God spare us... we never had a chance did we?
Doubtless rugby is now unrecognizable. Never mind me getting yelled at for not running straight, coaches will now be telling players to oscillate, "No! At the same frequency as the try line! I will not have independently evolving probabilities here, you slack and idles!"
yours (not aye, just momentarily, and only at this point in the multiverse) etc. etc.
The above comment made me smile! :) Bloody 'Johnny ''Kicker'' Wilkinson'... only Quantum physics could explain England winning the world cup! ... At least Wales still rely on good old fashioned tackling and running at the opposition line for a win!
ReplyDeleteOn a serious note, I now know this is what I was 'seeing' Aang, when I said I can see at young man going on a rampage in a school...
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2616326/Boy-suspects-mother-holiday-Gran-Canaria-Further-details-emerge-teenager-accused-stabbing-teacher.html
I said I could see a young man going on a rampage in a high school, with a shotgun, obviously this was a knife. I knew it was going to happen in UK.
I had a vision of someone being brutally murdered in a school, surrounded by terrified children, panic... and alot of blood. The only connection I can see to a 'shotgun', is the suspects love of violent video games (I get the feeling the kid was fantasising for weeks about going on a rampage with a shot gun or rifle).
Now I understand it is tragic, and a much loved and admired woman has lost her life, and I know how the media (and Government) will spin it... but in a strange way, I do feel sorry for the suspect more. Crimes like this are NOT done out of evil or malice... it's done out of desperation, fear and confusion. First reading into who he was, a loner, depressed, bullied, parents marriage had failed... the kid had been warped into a maniac by violent video games and online chatrooms. He had been drinking heavily in recent weeks, and begun experimenting in drugs. Friends and relatives are genuinely shocked, and can't believe his change in character.
I suppose it's always been the same story, loner teenager, attempting to find who he is, in a society (especially as a teenager) surrounded by a 'fantasy' world of fashion, sex and... 'Geordie Shore'. (you know what I mean).
It's got me cut up this morning, because I know this is what I 'saw', so to speak. Anyway... tragedies like this happen everyday in some parts of the world.
Dear shirlz007,
ReplyDeleteYour comment is most interesting.

Interesting confusing stuff, Ang. (If you ‘are?’) Thought Lanza died in that Yank school where he didn’t die as did all the other kids that, so far, no-one has dug-up graves to check? Oh, a different multiverse, ‘Lanza,’ get it now.
ReplyDeleteThe hard part is proving a theory? Yes, we all ‘vibrate’ molecularly according to some Law unknown, so maybe, change the frequency of vibration and multiverses appear but how do we measure ‘when?’ Time?
Space does exist, it’s all around us yet we do not ‘see’ it. Remove space and the whole of creation collapses into an infinitismal blob of atomic particles.
Anyway, this thread interested me to comment.
I’ve trolled through your new site having found it but there’s something wrong, IMHO. I’m not saying you are in Langley, Virginia, but there’s a ‘disjointed’ feeling I have. Maybe the comments are not so controlled, very random and verbose now.
The subjects are as the old site but the responsive evocation has changed, sort-of, mind-controlled ‘good-cop’ -- ‘bad-cop?’
Then there is the 'Preview.' Always scrolled over my Mac window. Doesn't now. Oh, auto-return different? Maybe just better sever S/W? Have to tunnel-down IP's?
Hope I am incorrect.
Greetings from Langley.
