Ian Mur...POSSIBLE MOTIVES Political ? Economic ?

Ian Murdock, father of Debian, dead at 42
Former Sun VP and Linux Foundation CTO died under suspicious circumstances.

Murdock's Debian Manifesto railed at the poor software maintenance of other Linux distributions of the timeāand that of Softlanding Linux System (SLS) in particular, bemoaning the lack of attention developers gave to distributions and what he saw as the big cash grabs being made by would-be commercial Linux developers. He outlined Debian's modular architecture approach as well as its adherence to free software philosophy.

After earning his bachelor of science from Purdue in 1996, Murdock became chief technology officer of the Linux Foundation. In 2003, he brought his experience with Debian to Sun, where he was vice president of emerging platforms. He led Project Indiana, the effort that created the OpenSolaris operating system, which he described in a 2007 interview as "taking the lesson that Linux has brought to the operating system and providing that for Solaris as well." But three years later, after Sun was acquired by Oracle, the plug was pulled on OpenSolaris in favor of a new proprietary version.

http://arstechnica.co.uk/information-technology/2015/12/ian-murdock-father-of-debian-dead-at-42/Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9003998945645458544.post-60487621706935849222015-12-31T09:45:57.703-08:002015-12-31T09:45:57.703-08:00All Linux distros have been "backdoored"...All Linux distros have been "backdoored" for the N.S.A. since about 2005.Bill Gates was involved with inserting something called "sudo" as a part of the Linux operationg system
All Windows since Win 95 OSR2 have a N.S.A. backdoor. Also there are many free progs on the net which people use without knowing how many NSA coders have been involved in producing those progs & what backdoors they've inserted.

If you don't let the N.S.A do this you get "problems".Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9003998945645458544.post-82069174595466515192015-12-30T22:34:03.010-08:002015-12-30T22:34:03.010-08:00Reminds me of Aaron Swartz.Reminds me of Aaron Swartz.Kathy Mayeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16556073855637582558noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9003998945645458544.post-52724588660827785362015-12-30T13:20:51.825-08:002015-12-30T13:20:51.825-08:00http://www.globalresearch.ca/a-z-of-drones-2015-ci...http://www.globalresearch.ca/a-z-of-drones-2015-civilian-casualties-afghanistan-gaza/5498473Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9003998945645458544.post-80428117573562492952015-12-30T12:09:03.334-08:002015-12-30T12:09:03.334-08:00Ian Murdock created Debian, one of the most succes...Ian Murdock created Debian, one of the most successful Linux Distributions. Last days have seen strangest things happen: rants on twitter - with grammatical errors, accusations of being assaulted by policemen and suicide intentions.

Now, the info that he's dead.
https://blog.docker.com/2015/12/ian-murdock/

There's something strange going on. Zero info, a lot of disinfo and the closest ones that just asked for privacy.

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
