For 12 years, Sir David Amess was parliamentary private secretary to UK government minister minister Michael Portillo.

Michael Portillo, former UK Defence Minister, resigned as the result of a homosexual incident.
David Amess was reportedly murdered.

Saleh Mabrouk (above) was the only person ever arrested over the shooting dead of Police Constable Yvonne Fletcher, which took place in London in 1984.

Mabrouk was one of several Libyans deported from the embassy after the killing.

He was later allowed to re-enter the UK, where he lived for several years before being arrested in connection with the murder in 2015. The case was dropped in 2017.

Mabrouk reportedly worked for the UK security services.

Police Constable Yvonne Fletcher was shot dead outside the Libyan people’s Bureau.

In April 1996, Britain's Channel Four programme Dispatches revealed that Fletcher had been murdered by elements of British and American intelligence.

"The purpose of the slaying ... was to 'shape' public opinion and, importantly, pre-empt Parliamentary indignation for the later bombing of Tripoli by British based US warplanes." (Easy Target)

The bullet which killed Fletcher was reportedly fired from Enserch House (below left), which has been linked to the CIA.

Michael Portillo, former UK Defence Minister, resigned as the result of a homosexual incident.

Reportedly -

"Michael Portillo, Peter Lilley, Ian Hamilton, and other Thatcherite politicians of the 1980's were all associated with Derek Laud and Julian Lewis.

"All were alleged to have been guests at parties in London at which boys from care in a number of local authorities, including North Wales, Shropshire,Hampshire, Dorset, Brighton and Hove and others, were allegedly 'ferried in' with the co-operation of social workers to provide entertainments for the guests.

"It has also been alleged that Portillo freqently took 'holidays' in North Africa with his friend Derek Laud.

"Portillo insists that Laud was a guest on these holidays of him and his wife, but it has been alleged that hotel records do not confirm that Portillo's wife was there at all.

"Finally there have been specific allegations that the main aim of this ring is not to provide jollies for MP's and others, but to exert influence over them in their work by blackmail."

Sir David Amess said -

"The recent revelations that countless starlets have apparently been assaulted by movie mogul Harvey Weinstein are dubious to say the least.

"Whilst it has no doubt always been the case that some individuals have achieved their big break via the casting couch, this sudden flurry of alleged inappropriate advances beggars belief.

"Just as with the claims against Jimmy Saville here in the UK, why did no one say anything until now?"

Leisha Brookes, 45, of Southend, was assaulted by Savile and up to 30 other men in the 1970s.

Police shut down MP child abuse inquiries - report

An inquiry finds police seemed "reluctant to investigate" claims against former MP Lord Janner.

Lord Janner was charged in 2015 with offences against nine alleged victims. Police say 40 people accused him of abuse.

An independent inquiry in 2016 found the three earlier investigations were "missed chances" to prosecute him.

People are surprised to hear that President Xi's China has declared that 'vaccines should be voluntary', and they are cracking down against localities opposing vaccine mandates

'China's top health authority rectify local mandatory vaccination orders, stressing voluntary principle'

Russia as well 'Putin rejects mandatory covid jabs', Putin also seeking to rein in his localities

So what is this rubbish about the West having 'more freedom'?

But, they say, 'China and Russia outlaw pro-lgbt propaganda'
Yet in the West people are arrested or lose their jobs for favouring traditional gender and family ideas ... is that really 'better' for the majority of people?

Absolutely bemused to hear that this 'Somali' lives in a rich London street but was given a 'meeting' with Amess in his Essex Constituency, during his weekly surgery.

A surgery is an event solely for an MP to meet constituents about matters related to the Constituency.

It makes zero sense having a rich London Somali disturbing such an event.

I also don't understand why an assistant would bring such a Somali into a surgery. Far more obvious for him to meet the MP in London during the week.

All sounds ridiculous to me.....

MPs demand to see film on lobbyists [PART 1 OF 2]

THE row over the Cook Report expose of the parliamentary lobbyists Ian Greer Associates (IGA) intensifies today with a demand by more than 50 MPs that Central Television be forced to show MPs the 'censored report'.

A Commons motion, tabled by Alan Williams, MP for Swansea West, and backed by Labour, Liberal Democrat and Welsh Nationalist MPs, invites the select committee on members' interests to order Central TV to make the film available for a Commons inquiry into lobbying activities.

The elaborate sting depicted in the film - now withdrawn - involved researchers and businessmen posing as British representatives of an American company with $40 million to invest. The money, Ian Greer is told, comes from former Russian communists who have disposed of Russian art treasures and want 'to get close to the British government' by buying up the Insolvency Service, Companies House and the Patent Office with the proceeds.

During the pitch to secure the business, Mr Greer and Jeremy Sweeney, IGA managing director, claimed friendships with John Major, Norman Lamont and Michael Portillo and promised to arrange meetings with Neil Hamilton, the Department of Trade and Industry minister responsible for the Insolvency Service; DAVID AMESS, parliamentary private secretary to Michael Portillo, and Graham Bright, PPS to John Major.

Mr Amess has since told the Guardian he knew nothing of the proposal. The other MPs declined to comment.

MPs demand to see film on lobbyists [PART 2 OF 2]

The motion is signed by, among others, Alex Carlile, Lib Dem MP for Montgomery; Elfyn Llwyd, Plaid Cymru MP for Meirionnydd Nant Conwy; Peter Hain, Labour MP for Neath; Ted Rowlands, Labour MP for Merthyr Tydfil and Rhymney; Dennis Skinner, Labour MP for Bolsover; Helen Jackson, Labour MP for Sheffield Hillsborough; Glenda Jackson, Labour MP for Hampstead and Highgate; Rhodri Morgan, Labour MP for Cardiff West; and Jeff Rooker, Labour MP for Perry Barr. It regrets that Andy Allan, Central TV's chief executive, refused Mr Williams access to the film.

It accuses Mr Allan of suppressing Cook investigations and expresses alarm 'that Central TV executives forced the production team to abandon further investigations' since 'IGA had business links with Carlton TV, who took over Central, a relationship which Central's chief executive refused to disclose', despite a written request from Mr Williams.

The motion says 'the censored report is essential viewing for Hon Members, some of whose names were used by IGA without the knowledge and approval of at least one'. MPs should 'be aware of the way in which IGA claims access to ministers and their parliamentary private secretaries'. It 'recollects long-standing worries in the House about the way parliamentary lobbyists operate'.

The motion accuses IGA of 'pursuing a contract to represent people who claimed to be former Soviet communists wanting to invest the proceeds of the sale of national art treasures; and notes with 'incredulity' that their declared wish to invest the laundered proceeds in the privatisation of the Insolvency Service, Companies House and the Patent Office, did not alarm IGA.

Southend MP: 'Name and shame online trolls by printing their addresses'

Online trolls who bombard people with abuse should be named and shamed by having their addresses printed, a Southend MP has said.

The call comes amid growing concern about threats posted on the internet and after Joshua Bonehill-Paine, 24, was found guilty of harassing Labour MP Luciana Berger (Liverpool Wavertree) in a string of anti-Jewish rants.

SIR DAVID AMESS, MP for Southend West, urged the Government to tighten the law and crack down on offenders.

Speaking in the Commons during questions to the Attorney General, he said: "Will you look very carefully at the law relating to abusive and offensive online posts?

"Often when I look at these remarks, particularly when someone has died, it is quite incredible that newspapers seem to host these posts when I think these cowards should have their names and addresses printed along with the offensive posts."

Solicitor General Robert Buckland QC said: "You raise a proper point of increasing concern. Can I assure you that anonymity, perceived or real, is not an escape route for perpetrators?

"The use of false online profiles and websites still mean they are traceable, and these people can and will be pursued, just like the appalling individual who earlier this week was convicted of offences arising from a racist campaign against the honourable member for Liverpool Wavertree."

Attorney General Jeremy Wright QC took a break from representing the Government at its Article 50 appeal at the Supreme Court to take part in the question session.

Israeli ambassador speaks at local synagogue

London: DAVID AMESS MP has issued the following news release:

Sir David was honoured to attend the Southend and Westcliff Hebrew Congregation.

Sir David was joined at the synagogue by fellow Southend-on-Sea MP, James Duddridge, to hear Mark Regev, the Ambassador of Israel to the United Kingdom, speak at the Shul.

The event was held in celebration of the centenary of the Balfour Declaration and the continued co-operation between the UK and Israel. It was also an opportunity to celebrate the Jewish community in Southend and their contribution to the region and Essex as a whole. Following the Ambassador's address, Sir David met with guests during afternoon tea.

Sir David Amess MP commented:

"It was a great honour to have been invited to attend Sunday's event at the synagogue and to hear the Israeli Ambassador's speech. As a member of Conservative Friends of Israel, it is always good to promote relations between our two countries and I look forward to engaging more with the Jewish community in the future."

Church stand on Israel; Letter

We write to express our support for the position taken by the Chief Rabbi on the recent motion passed by the General Synod of the Church of England regarding divestment from products which are used by the Israeli Government in the territories (report, Feb 17; letters, Feb 20, 21 and 23).

We know from the lobbying and educational activities of the non-partisan, cross-party "Anglicans for Israel" group that this decision has caused enormous pain to ordinary Anglican worshippers and even more hurt to the Jewish community.

No matter how well meaning, politically motivated boycotts polarise opinion, particularly where there are a variety of causes to which attention could be similarly drawn. The recent AUT educational boycott, though quickly rescinded, had an immediate and destructive impact.

Synod might on reflection want to consider the plight of Palestinian Christians whose right to worship is explicit in Israel, yet becoming increasingly difficult within Palestinian territories, and who view with alarm the success of Hamas. They might be puzzled as to why there has been no similar overt manifestation of concern by the Church against such an explicitly anti-Jewish and anti-Christian movement.

We believe a better Christian witness is to encourage positive engagement with all parties in a difficult and protracted conflict which cries out for tolerance, justice, forgiveness and understanding. Another partial position just adds a further hurdle to peace rather than a bridge.

Gaza peace prospects; Letter

The loss of life incurred during the Israeli raid on the flotilla bound for Gaza is tragic. But whatever the rights and wrongs of the Israeli operation, there are much more important issues at play in the Middle East.

We must not forget what Hamas, which controls Gaza, stands for: it is intent on violence, smuggles arms, colludes with other rogue states, and thumbs its nose at the international community.

To achieve long-term security in the region, Hamas must accept the Quartet Principles - to renounce violence, accept the existence of Israel, and abide by previous agreements.

Israel, Egypt, the Palestinian Authority and the West have a shared interest in preventing Hamas from being strengthened, ensuring that a moderate national unity government is established in Gaza and the West Bank, and supporting ordinary Palestinians to secure a two-state solution.

The international community must be very careful not to do anything that emboldens Hamas to pursue its course of aggression and rejection. To hand such a propaganda coup to Hamas would pave the way for future conflict.

Hamas needs to know that the British Government will not reward its terror tactics, and that getting it to abide by the Quartet Principles will form the core of our policy.

The statement was widely criticised on social media, with Mr Amess later issuing an apology to anyone it offended.

"Unfortunately, a press release was issued in my name from my office this morning which I had not seen or authorised," he said.

"I was horrified when I read its contents, so I have sought to clarify the issue as as soon as possible.

"I wish to make it plain I abhor what Harvey Weinstein has been accused of and furthermore I think the way he has allegedly treated some women is disgusting.

"I apologise for any upset that the original press release may have caused and I have now put instructions in place to prevent this from happening again."

In response, Southend Liberal Democrats questioned the fitness of Mr Amess to represent his constituents.

"I am relieved the press release issued by Sir David Amess MP was retracted - it was completely unprovoked victim-blaming. Doesn't he or his office have better things to do with their time?" said a Lib Dem spokesperson for Southend West.

"What led his staff to believe this would accurately reflect his views and how does he explain away quotes directly attributed to him? He needs to take urgent action to reassure his constituents that he would believe and support victims of assault in Southend."

Schools start using FACIAL RECOGNITION to take lunch payments as campaigners and parents complain students weren't warned about privacy risks

FIRST: Students in schools

NEXT: Small 'trials' of payment-by-facial-recognition for regular Apple Pay/Google Pay/bank customers. (Although they won't really be 'trials', of course, since the word implies success or failure are both possible. The reality is that a 'successful' outcome to these 'trials' will have been predetermined).

SOON ENOUGH: Every citizen, everywhere, will be required to pay for everything, everywhere, by having their face or ID scanned. No more physical cash.

Based on algorithm, a corporate decision, or a malevolent agent of the state, it will be possible in one microsecond to switch off your ability to buy food, shelter and the other necessities of life.

If you are a political problem to the State, be prepared to be 'un personed'.

Looks like the CIA and friends on manoeuvres again. Sorry for the guy's family but this is the inevitable result of a British government in hoc to the US, over Iraq, Brexit, covid and everything else. When they try to break free, people are murdered whether at 7/7, David Kelly or Amess, or threatened with death (Boris Johnson 'covided'). A government of bravery is needed but the elections are too bent to deliver one.
