CARL JUNG, SEX, THE DARK SIDE, JESUS

...

The Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung was the son of a Protestant pastor.

Carl Jung's mother spent a considerable amount of time in her bedroom, where she said that spirits visited her at night.[3]

Jung wrote:

"As a boy I was the victim of a sexual assault by a man I once worshipped."

(cited in John Kerr's A Dangerous Method).

While married to Emma Rauschenbach, Carl Jung had a relationship with a Jewish girl called Sabina Spielrein, who was one of his patients.

Jung found that Spielrein's mental illness was triggered by the sexual arousal she felt as a child when she was spanked naked by her father.

Jung took to spanking Spielrein.

A Dangerous Method.

Emma and her husband Carl Jung, 1903.

In 1899, 17-year-old Emma Rauschenbach, one of Switzerland's wealthiest heiresses, fell in love with Carl Jung, 'a penniless doctor with a peasant background.'

Emma's father had syphilis.

After Carl married Emma, Carl had affairs with a number of women, including Toni Wolff.

Carl's sexual relationship with Wolff was tolerated by Emma.

Carl Jung had a crush on Sigmund Freud.

Jung wrote to Freud as follows:

"My veneration for you has something of the character of a ‘religious' crush.

"Though it does not really bother me, I still feel it is disgusting and ridiculous because of its undeniable erotic undertone.

"This abominable feeling comes from the fact that as a boy I was the victim of a sexual assault by a man I once worshipped (as Jung now worshiped Freud)..."

Why Freud and Jung Broke Up: Part II | Psychology Today.

Jung fell out with Freud.

Professor William Todd Schultz writes:

"I find it uncontroversial to assert - just as Jung and Freud did themselves - that homosexual feelings played a role in derailing their collaboration...

"'Unruly' homosexual feelings, as Freud put it, were at the core of the conflict.

Why Freud and Jung Broke Up: Part II | Psychology Today.

...

In 1913, at the age of thirty-eight, Jung experienced a horrible "confrontation with the unconscious".

He saw visions and heard voices.

He made notes. Jung began to transcribe his notes into a large red leather-bound book, on which he worked intermittently for sixteen years.[6]

Red Book

"The Red Book tells the story of Jung trying to face down his own demons as they emerged from the shadows...

"In it, Jung travels the land of the dead, falls in love with a woman he later realizes is his sister, gets squeezed by a giant serpent and, in one terrifying moment, eats the liver of a little child...

"At one point, even the devil criticizes Jung as hateful."

Many people have lots of pain hidden away inside themselves.

Try not thinking about pink elephants for five minutes?

Did it work?

Carl Jung spoke about accepting our dark side.

I used to be concerned that this meant to be equally dark and equally good, but not so.

When we accept our dark side we can forgive ourselves and then we can forgive others for their failings too.

When we accept our dark side we don't act out on it, we just understand, it and not hate ourselves so much because of it.

Then we find peace, and peace is bliss.

Carl Jung and family

According to Carl Jung: "We all must do what Christ did. We must make our experiment.

"We must make mistakes. We must live out our own version of life.

"And there will be error. If you avoid error you do not live."

The Psychotherapist & Self Acceptance.

According to the Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung, there is a 'dark side' to all our personalities.

Think of anger, greed, fear and lust.

This 'dark side', or 'shadow', is usually hidden within our 'subconscious'.

The 'dark side' or 'shadow' should not be seen as necessarily always 'evil'.

For example, there would be no marriages or children without there being a little 'lust'.

It is extreme or out-of-control lust that is evil.

If we get angry about injustice, that is no bad thing, so long as we remain rational and do not go berserk.

Essential Secrets of Psychotherapy: What is the "Shadow" by Stephen A. Diamond, Ph.D.

Jesus appears to have had his 'shadow'.

Jesus faced temptations in the desert.

He cursed the fig tree.

The Psychology of Jesus — Chapter 3 — David McKenna

Our rulers want us to be excessively angry, greedy, frightened and lustful.

However, there is also a 'good side' to all of us.

Fr. John A. Sanford, in his 1970 book The Kingdom Within, sees Jesus's instruction "love your enemies" as an attempt to help us deal with all the parts of the whole, the 'dark side' and the 'good side', without hurting anyone.

Professor Wallace Clift has looked at Jung's view of humanity as "a story of developing consciousness".

Clift sees this as being similar to Jesus's idea of the 'Holy Spirit' working to improve us.

Jung called the 'dark side' the 'Shadow' and he reckoned that it comes from our animal ancestors.

Jung wrote: ‘"The shadow is that hidden, repressed, for the most part inferior and guilt-laden personality whose ultimate ramifications reach back into the realm of our animal ancestors and so comprise the whole historical aspect of the unconscious."

When the 'dark side' emerges, for example in a War I or in a divorce, many people look for scapegoats.

We demonise our enemy.

There is a tendency to blame everything that goes wrong on Moslems or Jews or Blacks or Gays or Gypsies.

Most people deny their 'shadow', unconsciously 'projecting' it onto others so as to avoid confronting it in oneself.

Essential Secrets of Psychotherapy: What is the "Shadow" by Stephen A. Diamond, Ph.D.

Each of us should accept that we have a 'dark side' or 'shadow'.

The shadow is most dangerous when it is repressed and projected onto others.

When we will not acknowledge our dark side, we are at risk of becoming mentally ill and starting a war.

The 'saint' should acknowledge his or her 'dark side'.

Jekyll was saintly, but he hid and did not acknowledge his other side, Hyde, who was evil.

Jekyll's personality was split rather than whole.

Essential Secrets of Psychotherapy: What is the "Shadow" by Stephen A. Diamond, Ph.D.

When the CIA and its friends use their Monarch mind-control programme to brainwash children, they create in the children more than one personality.

One personality may the 'normal' personality and another may be the 'assassin' or sex slave'.

As mentioned above, the 'shadow' or 'dark side' contains some positive qualities.

Fear can be useful, if it keeps us safe.

Jung believed that most of us have lost touch with certain parts of our selves.

Jung believed that we should not try to be 'normal' because that means suppressing our real self, including the 'shadow'.

The healing of the disturbed person comes when they stop trying to be 'normal' and conformist.

We need to accept our 'shadow' and see that it involves some normal instincts and creative impulses.

Encyclopedia of Psychology and Religion (Springer Verlag, 2009) / Anger, Madness, and the Daimonic: The Psychological Genesis of Violence, Evil, and Creativity (SUNY Press, 1996) / Meeting the Shadow: The Hidden Power of the Dark Side of Human Nature (Tarcher/Putnam, 1991) - all by Stephen A. Diamond,

To be a good Christian you have to be fully aware of the 'shadow'.

Jesus asked us to consider our own faults, before we look at the faults of others.

Jesus had dinner with tax collectors and sinners.

Jesus had his difficult moments.

"And if anyone will not receive you or listen to your words, shake off the dust from your feet as you leave the house or town. Truly, I say to you, it shall be more tolerable on the day of judgement for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah than for that town...

"But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!...woe to you, blind guides...You blind fools!...You blind men!...You serpents, you brood of vipers, how are you to escape being sentenced to hell?"

Jesus was not necessarily kind to pigs or Greeks.

"The moment the evil spirits were cast into the pigs, they rushed headlong from the steep bank onto the lake and were drowned."

"The woman was a Greek ... she begged Jesus to drive the demons out of her daughter. 'First let the children eat all they want,' he told her, 'for it is not right to take the children's bread and toss it to the dogs.'"

Rejection of Pascal's Wager: The Personality of Jesus

Jesus did not claim to be perfect.

Jesus said: "Why do you call me good? No one is good - except God alone."

Carl Jung said: "On the cross his mission deserted him.

"But because he had lived so fully and devotedly he won through to the Resurrection body...

"It seems to me to be the Holy Spirit’s task and charge to reconcile and reunite the opposites in the human individual through a special development of the human soul."

Richard Nixon, like all US presidents, appears to have had more than one 'self' or personality.

There is the 'noble Quaker' Nixon and the 'lying murderous' Nixon.

Carl Jung wrote about 'archetypes' or personalities.

"Jung believed that universal, mythic characters - archetypes - reside within the collective unconscious of people the world over.

"Archetypes represent fundamental human motifs of our experience as we evolved; consequentially, they evoke deep emotions."

The 12 Common Archetypes.

I'll tell you first, I can't find any internet sources for this (theres been a few hoaxes over the years).... Fidel Castro died over the weekend.

I know it's been said many times over the years, I've never stated it before, theres nothing on the net... but this is the same source who told me about Hugo Chavez being purposely mistreated and killed off by Cuban doctors in Havana... then they announced his death three months later.

Keep an eye on it over the next few weeks (possibly months, considering the deaths of Lenin and Mao where not announced for months)...

Maybe Gay Adams from the Daily Mail can get to the truth! ;)

Humans can have a terrible dark side, they might hunt whales with harpoons which must be a horrible slow death. But then you hear of a story of a whale caught in an estuary and lots of people are working very hard 24/7 trying to save its life. Its all in the news and if they do manage to set it free everyone feels happy.

I would take with a grain of salt much of what Carl Jung had to say about anything. Why do I say this?

The Tavistock institute hired Sigmund Freud, it was later funded by the Rockefeller family in the 40s. Freud was also a Rothschild family friend.

Freud bumped into Jung in Vienna later on and became his pupil. They were quite close over the years until a few disagreements.

Freud was on a jewish mission and a jewish professor by the name of Szasz of NY university actually stated that Freud'smost powerful motive was to inflict vengeance on Christianity. They say Freud kept a copy of the Zohar and it teaches Jews to sacrifice Christian virgins for God's pleasure.

Freud felt the jewish population was not large enough to bring revolution and he needed a gentile and Jung fit the bill. Freud actually referred to Jung as "my beloved son in whom I am well pleased." Jung was a bridge to the gentile world.

Bear in mind there is absolutely no science involved in psychiatry. You will find just the opposite in the Vedas which are 7000 years old and any of Jung's work worth bothering with is lifted from these anyway.

I am afraid you will be disappointed with following most anything western man has to say concerning the development of Spirituality. Most of it is almost child like.

I would suggest this as a starter.

I will take your post with a pinch of salt. Freud did suffer depressions and had throat cancer towards the end of his life. But when he saw the horrors of the WW1 he thought mankind was irredeemable. No other creature is so cruel to each other, he thought. I think I share his despair. He is obviously a very compassionate human being.

Psychiatry is full of science but none of it is true, it's really marketing for their useless and dangerous drugs. Psychoanalysis is a science but it is not related to psychiatry in any way whatsoever.

Carl Jung was considers to be a secret Aryan supporter and anti-Semitic by people who didn't like him, but that wasn't true either. Some people describe Carl Jung of having scintillating intelligence.

I was once in an Evangelical Christian church but never got on with it. They were friendly people though, and I liked the women there a lot. I would also go to the local Buddhist centre to do yoga, which the Christians told me would let the Devil in, but I didn't believe in the Devil, (or in God, either, really).

The Buddhists did my head in too, all nice and passive with a very uncompromising harsh religion. I had enormous sex drive and the Buddhist women were gorgeous, natural, very pretty, and kind of hippy like, but not just sex was out of the question, even a close loving relationship was. Having girlfriends and boyfriends was frowned upon. The Buddhists believed in snuffing out all desire and passion, to become dispassionate. I reality hated it.

I got right into Carl Jung because he criticised both Christianity and Buddhism in the ways that I thought was correct. Through Carl Jung I could still have a faith in the 'other', our unconscious side which connects to the eternal. I liked Carl Jung's criticism of both Buddhism and Christianity very much.

The evangelical Christians I was with considered yoga and mindfulness to be the occult. They warned me not to meditate because when you empty the mind the devil gets in. They warned me not to go to the Buddhists. I said to them, 'let's the devil in? I don't see the Buddhists running prostitute rings, dealing drugs, money laundering, or involved in organised crime, do you?'. They told me that by becoming a Buddhist and emptying the mind the devil had already taken that person away from Jesus, and that was enough for him.

The dark side. She'll shock during WW1. Most people can't cope with this because they are not psychopaths. Psychologists working during WW2 discovered that most soldiers would shoot over heads of the enemy. They couldn't kill anyone. Since then the military has developed new types of training to an attempt to turn more soldiers into psychopaths.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/history/worldwars/wwone/shellshock_01.shtml

Extract:

Arthur Hubbard was one of millions of men who suffered psychological trauma as a result of their war experiences. Symptoms ranged from uncontrollable diarrhoea to unrelenting anxiety. Soldiers who had bayoneted men in the face developed hysterical tics of their own facial muscles. Stomach cramps seized men who knifed their foes in the abdomen. Snipers lost their sight. Terrifying nightmares of being unable to withdraw bayonets from the enemies' bodies persisted long after the slaughter.

The dreams might occur 'right in the middle of an ordinary conversation' when 'the face of a Boche that I have bayoneted, with its horrible gurgle and grimace, comes sharply into view', an infantry captain complained. An inability to eat or sleep after the slaughter was common. Nightmares did not always occur during the war. World War One soldiers like Rowland Luther did not suffer until after the armistice when (he admitted) he 'cracked up' and found himself unable to eat, deliriously re-living his experiences of combat.

...everyone had a 'breaking point': weak or strong, courageous or cowardly - war frightened everyone witless...

These were not exceptional cases. It was clear to everyone that large numbers of combatants could not cope with the strain of warfare. By the end of World War One, the army had dealt with 80,000 cases of 'shell shock'. As early as 1917, it was recognised that war neuroses accounted for one-seventh of all personnel discharged for disabilities from the British Army. Once wounds were excluded, emotional disorders were responsible for one-third of all discharges. Even more worrying was the fact that a higher proportion of officers were suffering in this way. According to one survey published in 1917, while the ratio of officers to men at the front was 1:30, among patients in hospitals specialising in war neuroses, the ratio of officers to men was 1:6. What medical officers quickly realised was that everyone had a 'breaking point': weak or strong, courageous or cowardly - war frightened everyone witless.

At the Buddhist centre I went to having relationships with the opposite sex was frowned upon. The place all looked lovely, and many of the women were gorgeous too. The Buddhists were intellectuals who were into art and craft, and their centre was beautifully designed. Sort of like a primary school, with simplistic designs and pretty colours.

But the place had a dark side. Boy on boy sex was encouraged, apparently. Especially for the elder men who run the place who liked having sex with new young recruits.

In some distant strands of Buddhism having homoerotic sex took you closer to Nirvana, but this is frowned upon by traditional Buddhist schools, but the founder of the Friends of the Western Buddhist Order, Sangharakshita, revived the tradition. Then one day, one of his disciples killed himself and it became national news for a while. Then it got forgotten about but one person never did forget, a person who had been a victim of Sangharakshita. And there were many other victims and maybe even more suicides, claims this person.

On the whole nearly all the disciples of Sangharakshita sided with him and forgot about the incident. The FWBO carried on unaffected.

The FWBO files is a massive archive. Here's an extract:

http://www.ex-cult.org/fwbo/fwbofiles.htm#properfound

The Proper Foundation for the Spiritual Life - the Homosexual Relationship

Having alienated followers from their families, women and heterosexual relationships, Order members are encouraged to engage in homosexual relationships since, within the FWBO, such relationships are considered to be part of the path to enlightenment. Persons involved at a more superficial level might find it genuinely difficult to accept what goes on within the inner circle of the organization, but the fact is that once a person becomes an Order member (and in certain cases, even before), efforts may be made to convert the said person from heterosexuality to homosexuality.

Why? FWBO 'Buddhist' theory runs in accord with the following argument:

1) One is separated from the experience of enlightenment by conditioning.
2) Heterosexuality is conditioning.
3) If heterosexuals engage in homosexual acts they will break down their conditioning.
4) Homosexuality is therefore a means to achieving enlightenment since it causes one to abandon conditioning.

Sangharakshita has claimed publicly that his view is that both heterosexuality and homosexuality are the result of 'conditioning' and that "We don't say that you should be homosexual.... or you should have a wife or should not" [42]. (See the above section re FWBO views on the family and heterosexual relationships to determine whether or not Order members are advised as to whether they should or should not have a wife). However, those who have known Sangharakshita personally speak of a person whose views totally contradict the above statement and furthermore, of someone whose own homosexual desires have actually carried over into the philosophy and teachings of the FWBO.

One such person was Mark Dunlop who met Sangharakshita in April 1972 when he was 22 years old and the FWBO leader was 47. By June of that year, Mark had been invited to dine with Sangharakshita, and by July he had suggested that Mark move in with him. Thinking this was a gesture of friendship rather than the first stages of seduction, Mark accepted. However, as their friendship progressed, Sangharakshita repeatedly returned to the topic of homosexuality and Mark began to feel that he was 'after him' sexually.

At 28 July 2015 at 00:47 , Anonymous Anonymous said...

The FWBO founder told Mark Dunlop that his resistance to homosexuality was the result of 'conditioning'. Quoting Kinsey, he claimed that research had shown that a large number of men were actually bisexual but were unaware of it due to social and parental conditioning. Mark was told that his aversion to homosexuality actually showed how deeply conditioned he was and that the only way to progress spiritually and emotionally was to overcome his revulsion and accept that he was, in fact, bisexual. And so, in awe of his spiritual teacher and convinced by arguments supported by the wisdom of an ancient spiritual tradition and modern scientific research, Mark Dunlop, albeit reluctantly, succumbed.

The sexual relationship mainly consisted of Sangharakshita lying on top of Mark and masturbating himself against him to the point of orgasm. Mark would then remove the semen with a towel he kept under his bed for the purpose. Usually all this occurred on a twice weekly basis. As he became more wary of his intentions and began to realise that he had been duped, Mark would sometimes object to the advances. Sangharakshita would get his way by talking about the importance of trust and 'spiritual friendship.' On two occasions he clutched at his chest, saying "Oh, my heart" (clearly overwhelmed by the pain of rejection).

It was not until 1976 that Mark Dunlop managed to break away from Sangharakshita. Retrospectively he views the period as one wherein he was repeatedly raped by someone who had used spiritual and psychological violence, rather than plain old physical force, to subdue him. As a consequence of his experiences, Mark has, for the last 20 years, had to endure a succession of bouts of severe depression and, despite having received the help and advice of psychiatric health professionals, he remains severely emotionally damaged and unable to reintegrate into society. The consultant psychiatrist who treated Mark recognized the FWBO as a cult and declared his symptoms to be identical to those she had treated in numerous other ex-cult members [46].

Had Sangharakshita restricted his attentions solely to Dunlop, it might be claimed that he had fallen victim to a momentary lapse of reason, albeit one that lasted for four years. Unfortunately however he did not. Maurice Cooke or 'Yuveraj', Sangharakshita's subsequent 'close disciple', spoke of undergoing similar experiences at his hands and indeed has subsequently endured a prolonged period of mental difficulties as a consequence of his experiences. Furthermore, as mentioned above, more accusations of attempted seduction by the FWBO founder have appeared on the Internet since publication of the Guardian article.

Here's some more FWBO Files extracts that I found interesting. I hope I'm not overdoing it, but I think people here would find it interesting.

When the Guardian offered Sangharakshita the opportunity to reply to the allegations and clear his name before they went to press, he refused to be interviewed or make comment of any kind. Indeed he continues to refuse to discuss the matter with anyone at all, even the group of young men with whom he presently lives. This, according to an FWBO reply to the Guardian article, is because to do so "would involve Sangharakshita in an exercise of disloyalty towards a former friend." [47] Unlike Sangharakshita, a number of the men he seduced or attempted to seduce during the 1970's and 80's consider truth to be of more importance than loyalty. One wonders how many of his victims will have to come forward before Sangharakshita deigns to answer their accusations.

Incredibly, in an attempt to defend Sangharakshita, the same document quoted above tells us:

"In his early years in Britain, Sangharakshita.... explored a number of different...routes to deeper human experience, even perhaps, spiritual experience, such as sex and psychedelic drugs, while of course continuing to meditate, study, and practise within the Buddhist tradition.[!] These explorations were always of a personal kind. He considered them to be taking place within the context of friendships and did not advocate their use by his disciples." [48]

Which 'Buddhist tradition' advocates that 'monks' engage in a mixture of sexual misconduct, LSD 'trips', and meditation, as the path to enlightenment remains a mystery. More importantly, the above represents a direct admission on the part of the FWBO that, whilst manifestly lying by posing as a Buddhist monk, their 'founder' was having sex and taking drugs. The sheer hypocrisy of Sangharakshita is made further apparent by the claim that all of these things took place within the context of 'friendships' rather than being encouraged amongst disciples. Quite apart from the fact that most of Sangharakshita's friends were his disciples at this point, the sanctiminious attitude of "don't do as I do, do as I say" is an inexcusable one in any of the genuine Buddhist traditions since all of these require that a true teacher maintains pure moral discipline as a prerequisite qualification.

Sangharakshita's personal philosophy of homosexuality as the path to enlightenment is not one that he employs solely at a microcosmic level for the satisfaction of his own personal desires. His methods have been propagated macrocosmically throughout the FWBO and it is clear that the practice is common to other Order members.

The first stage in the process of conversion to homosexuality is, as in Mark Dunlops case, convincing people that they are nothing other than a mass of conditioning. Sangharakshita writes:

"...we are just a mass of conditioning: a class conditioning, plus an economic conditioning, plus a religious conditioning, plus a national conditioning, plus a linguistic conditioning. There is very little in fact... that is really, in a word, us." [49]

Perfect depends on what we mean... to be... as Jesus is... The ask.

Kind to Greeks and pigs but a different 'kind' to the latter.

Jesus perfect, kind, and like us had a shadow side but unlike us, didn't do ever 'less than the best', aka sin. We are called to be - one definition of - perfect (i.e. mature). Having the capacity, born-like Jesus, we could in theory 'be perfect' (sin not-ever). Difference, Jesus did, and the mystery and light of what this took, the heart of the cross. The good news.

Jesus through relying on Father, abba (mother if you like) and the Holy Spirit with progressive revelation battled in love and sacrifice, a way through the powers and self, for all to be transformed, be like Christ ...perfect. Redeemed.

Shadows and sides, this helpful post grapples with this difficult subject. Well done. Incisive as norm.

I quite agree with you regarding psychiatry.

However this "you will be disappointed with following most anything western man has to say concerning the development of Spirituality" is bordering upon arrogance. I would suggest maybe 'Thursday Night Tarot', J Lotterhand, as an accessible starting point. Or maybe Paul Case's exposition of the Rosicrucian manifestoes in 'The True and Invisible Rosicrucian Order'. All the best.

Here's an excerpt from Ten Beautiful Lies About Jesus by David Fitzgerald:

The Gospels are neither consistent in their portrayals of Jesus’ character nor of the events of his life.

Mark’s Jesus is a fallible, suffering human. There is no miraculous account of his birth; his story begins when he becomes God’s son at his baptism (1:11). He is a “secret Messiah” not only denying that he is God (10:18), but hiding his true identity, disguising his message and teaching his followers in secret: "To you has been given the secret of the kingdom of God, but for those outside, everything comes in parables, in order that 'they may indeed look, but not perceive, and may indeed listen, but not understand . . . " (4:11-12). Mark’s Jesus uses traditional pagan magic techniques (spit and magic words) to heal the blind and deaf, but not always successfully (7:32-35; 8:23-25). He loses his temper sometimes; both with people (8:33; 9:19), and with inanimate objects; infamously cursing (and withers!) a fig tree after failing to find figs on it – because it was not yet fig season (11:12- 14). He can even be a bit of a jerk; he initially refuses to cast out a devil from a Gentile woman's daughter, saying it is not right to take the children of Israel’s bread and toss it to the dogs (7:25-27).

In the garden of Gethsemane, Mark’s Jesus fares the worst, he is distressed and agitated (14:33), even “sorrowful unto death” (14:34). He goes off on his own, and then breaks down completely, falling to the ground on his face (14:35) and prays three times to take away the cup of suffering from him (14:36,39,41), stopping in between to scold the disciples for falling asleep on the job (14:37-38,40) before finally sarcastically telling them, “Fine, go ahead and sleep now; look, here they come to arrest me”(41-42).

Mark’s Jesus repeatedly tells people he will return during their lifetimes (9:1; 13:30; 14:62); and dies in despair on the cross crying words cribbed from the 22nd Psalm:
“Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? (15:34).

Matthew’s Jesus is a new and improved take on Mark’s original. After all, Matthew was not setting out to create some new Gospel, just revising the only one he knew. But when he’s not copying Mark verbatim, he upgrades Mark’s Jesus by correcting Mark’s mistakes about basic Judaism, not repeating his geographical errors and expanding on the narrative, including: a dark and suspenseful nativity story, a suitable genealogy, a longer ending, embellishing Jesus’ deeds and attributes, and beefing it up with plenty of miracles throughout. Matthew’s Jesus is also a most Jewish Jesus, a rabbi who upholds the Torah, insisting “not one jot or stroke of the Law will pass away” (5:17–19). He wears a prayer shawl tasseled with tzitzit (9:20-22), observes the Sabbath (12:1-8), teaches, worships and heals in synagogues as well as the Temple (4:23; 9:35; 14:21).

Matthew doesn’t just correct mistakes Mark makes, he also fixes mistakes Mark’s Jesus makes, even removing anything that makes his Jesus look less than perfect...

I was into Jung, so I went up London and bought site Chinese coins so I could do the I Ching. Do you want new coins or old coins, they said to me at the shop. I bought the old coins because they seemed more mystical, although a bit dearer. I already had a book on the I Ching.

You're supposed to commit yourself to the iI Ching, even it seems wrong.

I was using the I Ching for a few months and it couldn't make much sense of it. Then one day I had the worst day of my life, so I threw the coins and looked it up in the book and it said, congratulations, you're had the day in your life. I never threw the coins again after that. Bloody load of rubbish, I thought.

I would not equate the Sangharakshita fellow described as being "Buddhism" or Hinduism.

You know even in Tibet Lobsong Rampa describes a cult there he calls the dark brotherhood, a form of Buddhism in which young children are kidnapped and raped to abort their energies. In fact they attempt to infiltrate the Potala from time to time. It is fortunate they have seers who can weed them out.

As in all things one must use discernment which varies with the individual. That is what climbing the ladder is all about. Buddhism is not necessarily Hinduism either, although certain tenets are similar.

As for anonymous describing a Buddhist sect in the UK, Many Buddhist sects observe a person before deciding if they are to introduced to higher learning and are worthy of it. In fact many monks spend years in a monastery before they are allowed near a Dakini (female monk) in order to raise kundalini.

The closest I have ever been to the U.K. was France and Germany, but as an outside observer, I would venture a guess the more twisted sects of any organization would somehow find their way there.

I recommend Capt Ajit a lot as he is very knowledgeable, but on the other hand tends exaggerate once in awhile, such as statements that nobody outside India has ever raised kundalini. That is pure bullshit there. Chinese, American Indians and others have done so. In fact they are rare but I have met a few. But I understand Ajit and he is raising the spirit of indians after 800 years of colonialism, more power to him. Still he is a very knowledgeable man.

In fact Jesus showed signs of a raised kundalini even in childhood if we point toward the scriptures. He obviously journeyed to India also, not that he needed it but in my own opinion was simply consorting with more advanced masters he felt comfortable with. Kundalini can rise of it's own accord in rare cases and Gopi Krishna wrote on book about this. However Ajit is convinced it was only partially raised. I have read the book.

It is my opinion one should bear in mind that Jesus was adamant that others can accomplish the thing he accomplished. He did not advocate "letting him into your heart" and singing hallelujah.
Although I suppose it is beneficial to some to feel they have some sort of spiritual understanding. it probably does some good as far as a quest for moral relativity.

Once again I would recommend Ajit for those who seriously want to explore 7000 years of Vedic knowledge. The tract below is excellent along with many others written by the captain who spend many years at sea and had lots of time to read and contemplate.

http://ajitvadakayil.blogspot.in/2012/12/awakening-and-raising-kundalini-after.html

Spending some time around a Buddhist temple or an Ashram will not always give one an in depth idea of what each is all about. The west is known as the me/now generation expecting expecting instant gratification.

Hinduism is defined as the "the search for truth" and we should all be for that. There are no limits to the debate and as the Rishis say, even an atheist can be considered a Hindu for he has already embarked upon his own search for truth.

“Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” by the way is pure Sumerian or Navajo if you will. The Navajo language is Sumerian and that phrase means "it is finished" not why hast thou forsaken me.

In fact the message of Jesus is very similar to what you would find at the Potala in Tibet, from a native indian medicine man, swami or buddhist priest. It is all about benefitting from the life force and the laws of the universe. If you are not allowing natural healing and the fire of life to aid the body, then it is just words and a belief system. It is better to know than to believe.

http://www.thenazareneway.com/essene_gospel_of_peace_book1.htm

The original hebrews are the Falani from India who migrated to Palestine and brought with them their six pointed star which was a symbol for tantric sex. They are what is nominally referred to as the hebrews or jews.. They clashed with khazars coming from the north who had converted to their religion. In fact they were set on the move by Alexander the Great who having word of human sacrifice tried to surround them pushing them toward Poland, `Palestine and Japan where they formed Shinto Buddhism. It has a temple of solomon, sacrifice pole and the works. The royal family of Japan has the star of david on the gate.

They are the ones Jesus referred to as "those who call themselves jews but are not jews". Although there was no such word as jew at the time. They were the Edomites. So in effect Jesus was a Falani/Palestinian and of those who later converted to Islam. There is quite a bit of misdirection in the "history of the west." Buyer beware.

Most in west will have varied opinions of their "religion" which will vary most remarkably. it is at times like walking through a mental asylum. Religion from the Greek bear in mind means the search for truth. Ironically that is what Hindu means. Many may be a Hindu unknowingly.

Cheers

I have some tracts which touch on these very subjects because in the blog arena I have noticed such misconceptions over the years. Some of these for anyone interested, I will list here. These tiny google blocks don't leave much room for serious discussion.

I told this girl who went to the yoga lessons about how ascetic the Buddhists were. She said, oh, they're not all like that, in India the tantric Buddhists have loads of sex. I looked it up and found out it was true, but I still wasn't impressed, ritualistic orgies didn't appeal to me.

The Roscrucians are a bit too convoluted for me, I prefer just simple tantrayana.

I choose life.

https://dublinsmick.wordpress.com/2012/04/13/the-germans-call-it-mehr-als-leben-more-than-living/

http://www.sacred-texts.com/eso/sta/sta34.htm

TRUSTWORTHY information is unavailable concerning the actual philosophical beliefs, political aspirations, and humanitarian activities of the Rosicrucian Fraternity. Today, as of old, the mysteries of the Society are preserved inviolate by virtue of their essential nature; and attempts to interpret Rosicrucian philosophy are but speculations, anything to the contrary notwithstanding.

FRATERNITAS R.C.
Johann Valentin Andreæ is generally reputed to be the author of the Confessio. It is a much-mooted question, however, whether Andreæ did not permit his name to be used as a pseudonym by Sir Francis Bacon. Apropos of this subject are two extremely significant references occurring in the introduction to that remarkable potpourri, The Anatomy of Melancholy.
The fundamental symbols of the Rosicrucians were the rose and the cross; the rose female and the cross male, both universal phallic emblems.

The whole thing reminds me of Geronimo. When asked by the calvary if he had any medicine men, Geronimo responded: There are many medicine men, some have the power and some just talk :)

Ritualistic orgies is quite a stretch. In the Tao, Hinduism or Buddhist monks do not reach orgasm. We are not talking about sex in the western sense where women are rode like some kind of horse.

Positive and negative energy are the two most powerful forces in the universe, they cause lightning in the sky, divide the cells in humans, form a child in the womb, make the grass grow and the rain fall, keep the planets in harmony revolving around the sun.

The male is positive energy and the female is negative energy. That is the base of tantra. It is how almost all major religious groups raise the kundalini. The female transfers her male energy to the male and the male transfers female energy or negative energy to the female. This doesn't happen reading books and discussing theories.

The book of the gnostic Thomas disappeared for good reason. When he said thine eye must be single, it was an allusion to the pineal gland or third eye. When he said the two must become one to see heaven he meant tantra. This book did not make the cut for the bible. So yes the body is the temple of the spirit. The book of Thomas is very different from the traitor Paul who had never even met Jesus.

So yes there were secret teachings for the disciples not available to the general public at the time. These teachings managed to get Mary Magdelene stoned.

Most everything else is just theory and a belief system.

Another couple of things worth mentioning.

How does one become wise as the serpent? Serpents coil together and remain motionless.

How is one born again? You must re-enter the birth canal from whence you came. This is a reference to tantra.

Cheers

That is most gratifying. I especially again recommend this one by the captain, although he has blogged for years and has a wealth of information over there. This particular one however vividly explains the scientific background concerning tantric sex and the Vedas Indians take a bad rap and the uninformed love to portray them as cow worshippers and what not.

Now the captain is salty, he loves the term the white invader, and once if I remember right referred to the disciples of Jesus as German Jews. He can stretch things from time to time. He knows fully well however the Hebrews of that era are the Falani from India who brought with them their six pointed star which is a symbol for tantra.

And as referenced earlier, the secret knowledge Jesus gave to his inner circle was tantra and the reason Mary Magdalene was stoned and called names.

But on his site over the years he has some great information from health to the history of India's gold being stolen to the black stone meteorite which is hidden under Al Aqsa. It is more powerful than the one at Mecca.

The funniest thing he came up with however was concerning

Today when we describe the accolades received on Indian TV on behalf of Nina Paley the American actress who starred in a movie about Ramayana called “Sita Sings The Blues”, India trembles in fear. Indians know what it means when Sita sings the blues.

Community leaders condemn 'bogus' witch doctors, call for investigation

Auckland's Indian community leaders have called for an investigation into how so-called Hindu witch doctors have been able to work in New Zealand, while condemning local Indian media for allowing such practices to be advertised in their products.

Around 20 people gathered for a community meeting in Mt Roskill, Auckland, this afternoon to tackle the issue of witch doctors targeting the vulnerable in their community.

It comes after fears were raised of so-called 'witch doctors' and 'healers' in south Auckland who have charged thousands of dollars in return for promised financial fortunes and love-life successes that don't eventuate.

Speakers at today's meeting condemned the practice, saying many of the 'astrologers' were targeting vulnerable people.

Here's an interesting point of view regarding Gnostic writings such as the Gospel of Thomas:

Gnostic Gospels and Acts: "Jokes" against the Christian State become "heresy"

The Gnostic Gospels and Acts - a tabulation of texts

Have we been digging up
the heretical buried jesus jokes of the gnostics?

Are the following examples of Monty Pythonish GNOSTIC JOKES?

In the docetic Acts of John, Jesus does not leave footprints in the sand. John cannot seem to touch Jesus' physical body. John commands a legion of bed bugs. He is a strange and powerful dude.

In the Gospel of Peter Jesus is lead from the tomb and his head is higher than the sky; The cross follows along behind Jesus at a walk. The cross speaks its own talk. It says "YEAH!".

In The Acts of Paul, the author uses Aesops Fables in the Baptised Lion Affair- Paul baptises a talking lion in the wilderness. When thrown to the lions at the conclusion Paul is saved from death by the christian lion in the arena. (One good turn deserves another!)

In The Gospel of Philip, Jesus came to crucify the world but exactly where did Jesus often kiss Mary? On her forehead? on her cheek? on her lips? The manuscript has been damaged at that precise spot. Jesus could have often kissed Mary anywhere.

In the Acts of John the Theologian, The Emperor Domitian receives complaints about a new and strange nation of Christians. The author of this text had read Eusebius, who is the only one that uses these terms in the whole saga of "Early Christianity".

In the Gospel of Judas, Judas is presented as one of twelve "daimons". None of the twelve "daimons" can look at Jesus in the eyes. Jesus is presented as a "Head Daimion" or sorceror.

In The Gospel of Mary , Mary is presented in having exclusive knowledge not given to Peter. As a result, Peter is peeved. "Did He really speak privately with a woman and not openly to us? Are we to turn about and all listen to her? Did He prefer her to us?"

In the Infancy Gospel of Thomas, the Child Jesus as a malevolent trickster wizard. Death and destruction follow the child jesus.

dublinsmick: “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” by the way is pure Sumerian or Navajo if you will. The Navajo language is Sumerian and that phrase means "it is finished" not why hast thou forsaken me.

Infidel: If you had read Ten Beautiful Lies About Jesus which I referred to above you would have learned that "Matthew switches Jesus’ last words from Aramaic to Hebrew so that he cries out “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani” not “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani.” Mark wanted the
bystanders to think Jesus is calling for Elijah (Mark 15:34-35). Unfortunately, his play on words only works in Hebrew, not in Aramaic. It makes no sense for the bystanders to think that Jesus is calling for the prophet Eli if Jesus was saying “Eloi.” Matthew changes it to Hebrew; historically incorrect for someone like Jesus to have spoken, but at least it makes the pun work (27:46)."

The book of Genesis begins with two different and contradictory creation myths which were derived from Babylonian myths which were derived from Sumerian myths. Read The Pre-biblical Protagonists Behind Genesis' Eve: Shamhat and Inanna (Ishtar) of the Epic of Gilgamesh:

"In a Nutshell Summary:

I understand Eden's Eve is a fictional character, a fusion of at least six different characters appearing in earlier Mesopotamian myths: (1) Shamhat/Ukhat of the Epic of Gilgamesh; (2) Inanna/Ishtar of the Dumuzi Myths; (3) Nin-Ti of Dilmun; (4) Gishzida, (5) Dumuzi, and (6) Adapa of the Adapa and the Southwind Myth. The focus here is Shamhat and Inanna."

Read the rest:

http://www.bibleorigins.net/EveasShamhatoftheEpicofGilgamesh.html

There was no walking talking Yahweh, no Adam, no Eve, no talking snake, no magical fruit trees, no fall of man, and therefor no need for a "Redeemer" such as Jesus to die for the remission of sins. Romans 5:12 (Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned) is false.

There are hundreds of contradictions in the Bible, as well as bogus prophecies, absurdities, and historical and scientific inaccuracies. The Bible is not the word of god, it is an anthology of falsehoods written to enrich and empower priests and rulers.

Judaism, Christianity and Islam are built on faulty premises.
